I already posted a bit in a note about our hike at World's End. I'm working on a longer post about it with lots of photos-- including one of puddingstone, which always always makes me think of you when I find a bit. We also visited a herring run on the way home. I have photos and videos I want to post, but this has been a very lazy week. Also my daffodil bed has exploded into glorious golden trumpetry.

How exciting - two new books! I can't wait to get them! Congrats on the asparagus. I just cut a huge bunch of deep purple and light purple lilacs branches along with orangey double-flowering quince and put them on the front porch. Such extravagance!

Ahh, thank you SO MUCH for the reminder to revisit Lynda Barry. I haven’t read her since before I came a mother, and she’s just what I need in my life right now.

The 80s!! Ah, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times...lol. I always wanted a Trapper Keeper...*sigh* I'm up for any book set in the 80s.

I LOVE Lynda Barry...I'm just reading Syllabus now and have her Making Comics book out from the library as well. Thanks for the video share...she's an absolute marvel.

Congrats on your books...and also the asparagus...such a long-term commitment (like rhubarb, only more so) but so worth the wait. xo

I reread Syllabus and What It Is in March and they got me SO fired up. :)

I too pined for a Trapper Keeper. When I got the offer on this proposal, I bought myself one to celebrate. :)
